Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac. It is ruled by Mercury, the planet that represents communication, writing, and movement. The sign of Gemini belongs to the element of Air. The Mutable Air of Gemini is the agent of the exchange. That which has been concentrated must now be distributed. This air is alive, without which reproduction could not occur. The air is full of activity. Pollen blows in the warm air, insects buzz and butterflies flit. The task of Gemini of weaving an information network for the cross fertilization that is essential if life is to reproduce itself. Before our eyes the marriage of heaven and earth is happening. The myth of Gemini
Often the constellation Gemini depicts in the form of the spirit of the brothers, the two Dioscuri or heavenly twins. They are children of the same mother Leda, but different fathers: the mortal Tindareus and the immortal Zeus. According to legend, Leda was wife Tindareus, the king of Sparta, but Zeus who seduced Leda in the guise of a swan. So Castor was the mortal son of Tindareus, and Pollux the divine son of Zeus. When one of the brothers, Castor, was killed, then the second persuaded Zeus to allow him to share with his brother immortality, because Pollux very fond of his brother and did not imagine his life without him. As a result, they have become inseparable and spend alternate days on Olympus as gods, and in Hades, the realm of the dead, as deceased mortals. That’s why Gemini are so different and often surprise others with their impermanence.
The symbol
The image of two columns in the sign of Gemini denotes the gate of knowledge. Nature seeks to build bridges between the lower forces of the physical world and the higher, spiritual, celestial forces. This sign also embodying the essential split between the intellect and the emotins. It is depicted as two antennas directed in opposite directions. Gemini is also a sign of the union of two opposing principles – the female negative energy of yin and the male positive energy yang. The Gemini sign is a mix of these two energies. Born under the sign of Gemini, many people study hard. Geminians prefer this kind of work, which is associated with continuous change in experience and activity. They always strive to achieve something – fame, wealth, love and something else which is clearly unattainable. In essence, Gemini is a cool sign: people of this sign are always trying to analyze the thoughts, words, actions and reactions of other people. Gemini – Man

John Kennedy was the most loving president in US history. Like all Gemini, he had a light, cheerful character. John was born on May 29, 1917 in Brooklyn, Massachusetts. But the later they marry, the more likely that their union will not fall apart. So it happened with Jacqueline Bouvier. The president met with her when he was over 40. Nevertheless the marriage did not prevent him from leading the old way of life. He was cheating on his wife constantly. Only shortly before his tragic death, the president realized finally that he was in vain looking for happiness on the side.
